On a mission trip, Ordelphia Nelson Proctor prayed for a stranger’s bandaged eye and for a paralyzed boy. She also recalls praying for the healing of an old curse in her husband’s family line. At the 1987 Minnesota Koronis CFO she reads a foster daughter’s letter: “A mother is not one who necessarily brings you into the world, but one who loves you.”
