On July 4 at the Florida Family CFO in 1985, Johnny Johnson tells how a red-headed stranger let him carry a full-sized American flag in a Chicago parade as a boy. He then traces the First Amendment to a Baptist preacher named Leland, who sponsored James Madison for office to win freedom to worship. He closes with his wife’s high-risk pregnancy, when she refused the abortion her doctors urged and delivered a healthy son.
