A Stick in the Water Is Not Broken

Reg Goff teaches on two kingdoms, the seen and the unseen. He uses the old trick of a stick that looks broken the moment it touches water though it never breaks at all, and offers it to the movement as a picture of trusting what cannot be measured. He recalls the prisoner Starr Daly, who met Jesus in silence in his cell and later said the way to face cruelty was to “put love into your eyes and let them look into it.” He closes with Peter healing a lame man at the temple gate with far more than “silver and gold.”
