Glenn Clark, Roland Brown and Marcia Brown led the first camp in Hawaii, in 1948 at Co-Co Kahi, with more than sixty campers, and campers later gathered at Kailani and Lanikai until 1956. The first CFO International, in 1973, placed a new Hawaii camp under the sponsorship of the Foundation Farthest Out, and from November 8 to 15, 1974, campers gathered again, with a Council Ring of nine.
Later, campers met on several islands, and from 1982 to 1986 there was also a Hawaii at Sea camp aboard the SS Oceanic Independence. The recordings run from 1974 to 1986 and include Larry Eddings, Tommy Tyson, Evelyn Carter Spencer, Wayne West, Francis MacNutt and Ruth Carter Stapleton.
