New York Stony Point CFO:
35 messages from 6 gatherings, 1978 to 1993.
Campers first gathered in 1953 at Minden, a Presbyterian conference center at Bridgehampton on Long Island, with Sam Reinke as chairman and a Council Ring drawn from the Silver Bay and Star Island camps and the New York City Prayer Group. They met there for twenty-four years, until the estate was sold in 1976.
In 1977 the three camps planned for Minden became one at the Stony Point Center, about thirty-five miles north of New York City, and the name became New York Stony Point. In 1995 campers moved to Camp Taconic and took the name New York Taconic. The recordings run from 1978 to 1993 and include Tommy Lewis, Eugene Wiesner, Bert Kerley, Virginia Lively, Alex McCullough and Mary Virginia Parrish, among others.

Tommy Lewis thanks God at a filling station for whiskey rather than condemning it, and jokes that he has arrived at the level of Balaam's donkey. He follows a ten dollar bill from hand to hand across a priest, some nuns and a Baptist deacon. Recorded at the New York Stony Point CFO in 1985.
