In September 1952 campers gathered at Lake Murray Lodge near Ardmore for a ten-day Spiritual Therapy CFO. From then on campers gathered each fall for the healing camp, as well as each spring, and the 1980 book speaks of "the fifty-four successive camps through the years" at Ardmore.
The recordings run from 1955 to 1984, most from September, and include Tommy Tyson, Genevieve Parkhurst, Bill Reed, Agnes Sanford, Cliff Richmond, Gertrude Dekock Keehn and Hal Hill, among many others.

by Frank Laubach · September 30, 1956
Frank Laubach tells campers at the 1956 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO about a lonely night on a hill in the Philippines. He wept over the Moro people, who hated him. His own lips answered that they would love him back once he stopped looking down on them, and something in him broke open toward them for good.

Blessing the Telephone Instead
by Cliff Richmond · September 29, 1957
Cliff Richmond describes cursing a ringing telephone for years, until he learned to answer it with "thank you, Jesus," turning the frustration itself into praise. At the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1957 he carries the same reframing into resentment and loneliness.
by Cliff Richmond · September 30, 1957
Cliff Richmond cites a documentary about a foundling home where infants had every material comfort and still sickened, many of them dying, because the nurses had no time to hold them. He then works through the Greek words for love. Let Jesus love you into loving, he urges the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1957.

by Reginald (Reg) Goff · September 28, 1959
Preaching at the 1959 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO, Reg Goff takes Mary's four words at Cana as the model of expectant prayer, and sets it against what he calls the cult of burden bearers who carry their requests home again.
by Brother Mandus · September 29, 1959
Brother Mandus retells the parable of a man who gives away his gift like a seed, until his five acres of blessing become twenty. Speaking to campers gathered for the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1959, he reminds them that a spiritual revival can spread from a handful of the faithful, the way "twelve people did it once."
The Cross at the Back of the Hall
by Brother Mandus · September 30, 1959
Brother Mandus recounts a vision in Pretoria, South Africa, where an empty-seeming hall filled with gold-white light and a cross at the back turned out to stand behind the risen Christ. He urges campers to seek the Lord's guidance hour by hour, just as he says he heard at the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1959 that "the crisis of 59 is finished."

The Chest X-Ray That Came Back Clear
by Dr. Bill Reed · September 25, 1960
A patient's chest x-ray was clouded by a spreading lung lesion, Bill Reed tells campers at the 1960 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO camp. The morning after he prayed "oh, blessed Jesus, come into her," the x-ray showed nothing. He then adds accounts of two uncles with leukemia who responded differently to prayer over the years.

The Woman No One Would Pray With
by Dr. Bill Reed · September 25, 1960
Bill Reed argues that campers must give away any blessing rather than keep it for themselves. He then recounts praying for a woman with skin cancer, who had told him "no one wants to pray with me" because she was Jewish. The talk comes from the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO camp in 1960.
by Brother Mandus · September 28, 1960
Brother Mandus tells how his business failed. Kneeling before an altar in a small English church, he saw three cracks appear above it, and heard a voice tell him to open a sanctuary of prayer with nothing left to his name. Speaking near the close of the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1960, he recalls the first person who came to his two room sanctuary for healing, a woman crippled by arthritis for years who walked out healed.
The Trees No One Knew Were for Healing
This talk comes from the 1960 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO. In his farewell address of the week, Bill Reed tells the campers of a patient given up as a hopeless case of leukemia. Prayer revealed a different, treatable illness underneath. In thanks, the family planted trees at his home church, a memorial to the healing that no one there was ever told about.

A Little Hand On the Aching Ear
by Ruth Robison · September 24, 1961
At the lunch table, Ruth Robison's three-year-old granddaughter jumped up, put a hand on her sister's aching ear and said "Jesus, heal it." Then she went back to add the thank you she had forgotten. Telling that at the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1961, Ruth Robison presses the question Jesus put to the blind men, "Do you believe that I can do this?" She tells campers never to go to bed tired.

Mortar Holds Us Together and Apart
by Tommy Tyson · September 22, 1962
Grace works like the mortar in a stone wall, Tommy Tyson says: it holds people together and at the same time keeps them a proper distance apart. This afternoon teaching at the 1962 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO moves from law to grace, takes up the hidden layers of the soul, and urges finding two or three friends you can be wholly honest with.
by Dr. Bill Reed · September 1962
Bill Reed preaches on Abraham's binding of Isaac and the uncounted cost of discipleship, warning that half-hearted faith cannot save a family or a nation. At the 1962 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO camp he adds that an elderly camper was healed of needing her two canes. She is now younger in her eighties than she had been in her seventies.
The Night the Plane Lost a Door
by Dr. Bill Reed · September 1962
After his plane loses a door in flight, Bill Reed arrives late to the 1962 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO. He preaches on joy as the fruit of the Holy Spirit and ties it to Isaiah 61 and John 16. He describes an arthritic woman who shakes under a prayer table and rises healed.
by Tommy Tyson · October 23, 1962
Goldie Brown of Durham, North Carolina, told Tommy Tyson that a sheep just follows its leader while a goat bucks at everything it meets. He sets that beside a resurrected Jesus who asks only for "Yes, Lord." It is a morning talk on the Word made flesh, given to the 1962 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO.

A Pillar That Goes Out No More
by Gertrude Dekock Keehn · September 25, 1963
Gertrude Dekock Keehn preaches on Revelation's promise to "him that overcometh," and recounts how she once asked God for roses for a sick woman. A florist she stopped to comfort along the way handed her the bouquet. She gave the talk to the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1963.
The Orange, the Peel, and Love
by Gertrude Dekock Keehn · September 25, 1963
Teaching children at the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1963, Gertrude Dekock Keehn uses a peeled orange, whose segments are held together by the peel as love binds people, to picture the wholeness of God. She pairs the lesson with Psalm 119's cry, "Oh, how I love thy law."

Her Unproduced Play About Saul
by Agnes Sanford · September 24, 1966
At the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966, Agnes Sanford asks whether anyone might help stage her unfinished blank verse play on the house of Saul. She then turns to forgiveness. When Jesus fully heals a memory, she teaches, a person can recall an old sin with laughter rather than shame.
by Oral Roberts · September 24, 1966
At the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966, Oral Roberts preaches from John 5 on the healing at Bethesda. He ties it to his own recovery from tuberculosis and stammering as a teenager. He recalls a crusade night when thirteen people rose from their wheelchairs after he prayed, "rise, take up thy bed, and walk."
by Agnes Sanford · September 25, 1966
A boy named Robert fell from a tree and lay comatose for three months. He began to recover the very week Agnes Sanford first prayed for him, two years earlier. Back at the 1966 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO, she asks campers to pray that his last remaining trouble, an unsteady walk, will be gone before the week ends.
Surrounding the Block Before Saturday
by Agnes Sanford · September 26, 1966
Agnes Sanford leads the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966 back through their adolescent years, asking Jesus into old memories. She also tells of a city minister whose prayer group patrols its own block at three in the morning, to get ahead of Saturday night trouble.

An electrician told Agnes Sanford that her floodlight would blow every fuse until someone built it a bigger channel. At the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966, she gives the same picture for a life that asks a deeper baptism of the Holy Spirit, while old resentments still narrow the wire.
Marriage Fulfills Engagement, Baptism Fulfills Birth
by Tommy Tyson · September 27, 1966
At the 1966 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO, Tommy Tyson presents the baptism in the Holy Spirit as the fulfillment of Calvary rather than an extra. He had told a divorced woman he counseled that when she gave her sin to Jesus, "he assumes responsibility for the cause" as well as the consequence. He adds that "the throne of God is at the feet of man."

An Evening Alone With Mr. Mozart
by Tommy Tyson · September 28, 1966
Healing is meeting Jesus person to person, not treating a symptom. At the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966, Tommy Tyson retells Carl Jung's rebuke of a preacher who filled his evenings alone with Mozart and Lincoln, and then admitted, "I can't stand myself."
The Valley She Saw Before Birth
by Agnes Sanford · September 28, 1966
At the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966, Agnes Sanford recounts a vision granted only two years earlier. In it she stood in spirit before her birth, in a valley where Jesus asked whether she would come to earth for the sake of relieving suffering. She says the memory healed an old bitterness.
Dost Thou Intend Harm To Yon Peak?
by Tommy Tyson · September 1966
A self-appointed prophet once blocked a mountain road to ask a passing family whether they intended harm to the peak. Tommy Tyson makes him the picture of the guard we mount over God's reputation. Teaching a morning session at the 1966 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO, he holds that baptism in the Holy Spirit is no option for a favored few, but the way the risen Jesus reproduces himself in us.
Peter Walked On the Living Word
by Tommy Tyson · September 1966
Opening the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1966 from 3 John 2, Tommy Tyson says Peter was not walking on water but on the living word. Told to come, "he took that word and made him some shoes that walked on water." Tyson then asks what enlarges a soul, and he starts with receiving your own husband, wife or children as ministers sent from God.
She Brought Shoes To the Healing Meeting
by Tommy Tyson · September 1966
A girl whose body was twisted and crippled carried a pair of shoes to a healing meeting because she meant to walk out running, and Tommy Tyson makes her his picture of waiting on God. His afternoon talk to the 1966 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO pairs deep hunger with relinquishment. He tells how his brother's leukemia was gone after the family laid him on the altar.

Meeting Jesus On the Other Side
by Jim Christian · September 14, 1974
Jim Christian describes the inner witness he says every believer should carry. He traces it from his wife's pregnancy years earlier to the 1971 heart attack, which left him certain he would step through a hospital door and meet Jesus face to face. He was preaching at the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1974.
The Saddle Shop Man Who Knew Will Rogers
by Jim Christian · September 13, 1975
Jim Christian argues that "the word became flesh" means ordinary flesh, and that Jesus turns up in unglamorous places rather than through religious display, retelling Nicodemus, the woman at the well and the man at Bethesda as if around a campfire. Hallelujah Brown asking whether anybody had told him they loved him today, a saddle shop man at Ardmore who had known Will Rogers, and a boy in a carpenter's shop shouting "hosanna" over a hit thumb, are how he says it. A message to the 1975 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO.

The Elijah Showdown on the Airplane
by Harold (Hal) Hill · September 19, 1979
On an airplane, Hal Hill offers an "Elijah showdown" to prove that Jesus, unlike other gods, came back from the grave. He tells how a black Muslim reading the Koran responded, and how a stranger responded who said only "sin" when asked what he is into. He recounts both at the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO in 1979.

by Tommy Lewis · September 15, 1980
Tommy Lewis tells campers that God's love received within must overflow into our closest relationships, describing a mother whose four-year-old son acted out until prayer restored the love she never felt for him during pregnancy, and his own effort to keep embracing his grown children. A message to the 1980 Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO.

She also points to Jesus healing a deaf man in Mark 7 as a picture of restored hearing.

by Tommy Tyson · September 15, 1984
Genevieve Parkhurst compares an unreleased prayer to a letter clutched instead of dropped in the mailbox. She tells of a mother who waited seventeen years, after a vision, to see her son become a man who lived by the word of God. She urges the movement's campers to release their prayers the same way. The talk comes from the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO.
From the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO. Genevieve Parkhurst describes an old, shut-in woman whose window prism scatters rainbow light across a dim room. The movement, she says, is made of people meant to do the same, breaking up God's light into joy others can see. She closes with the story of David Livingstone, who was recognized in Africa by his likeness to Christ though the villagers never knew his name.
Compassion Was Born On Christmas Day
Frank Laubach tells the campers that his appendicitis, fever, and a snapped leg muscle all traced back to a grudge against three Presbyterian trustees. This comes from the Oklahoma Ardmore Healing CFO. He then reads from his new book that "compassion was born on Christmas day." Compassion, he says, is the one force strong enough to heal a suffering world.
