Glenn Clark asked for a new camp while at Silver Bay in 1951, and from August 25 to September 2, 1952, campers gathered on Star Island, off the New Hampshire coast, with Glenn Clark, Ruth Robison and Rufus Moseley as speakers and Bob Smith as chairman. The name changed with each new home: Star-on-Cape-Cod, Star-on-the-Hudson at Bard College, the Pocono Mountain CFO in 1960 and the Cedar Crest CFO at Cedar Crest College in Allentown from 1961.
In 1974 campers moved to the YMCA camp at Downingtown as the Hilltop CFO, and later met at New Ringgold, Shippensburg and, from 1989, the Black Rock Retreat Center near Quarryville. The recordings run from 1960 to 2000 and include Tommy Tyson and Geraldine Conway, the first Cedar Crest speakers, along with Gertrude Dekock Keehn and Bo Bottomly, among others.
