United Prayer Tower Retreat:
19 messages from 10 gatherings, 1963 to 1997.
Glenn Clark founded the United Prayer Tower in 1941, and today it is the prayer ministry of CFO North America and CFO International. The recordings, from 1963 to 1997, come from its retreats, most often in the fall, and include Mary Virginia Parrish, Carolyn Christie, Therese Even and Brother Mandus, among others.
Nothing matches that search.
by Genevieve Parkhurst · February 9, 1963
Genevieve Parkhurst traces the tenderness of Jesus toward children, women, and the suffering. She closes with a West Berlin psychiatrist's account of adding telephone lines for the suicidal, since nothing could hold such a person except "the power of Almighty God." The talk was given at the 1963 United Prayer Tower Retreat.

When You Have Love, You Have It All
by Brother Mandus · February 28, 1964
Norman Elliott preached to the campers on what he called the strength of weakness. This comes from the 1968 United Prayer Tower Retreat. He retold a legend of birds who had no wings. Hunted by foxes, they beat back their fear until wings tore through their backs and they flew for the first time.
