Evelyn Carter Spencer recalls a pastor’s handshake sending what she describes as literal fire down through her body, the Sunday morning after a night of drinking. She also retells the Bible story of a man of God who was killed by a lion for letting an older prophet talk him out of obeying God’s word. She was teaching at the Nebraska CFO in 1975.
