Iverna Tompkins recounts being falsely accused of an affair with a man on her brother’s church board, and how the Holy Spirit broke her bitterness with the words “I have forgiven you of more than you’ve ever been accused.” She also reads through Lamentations 4 and compares the church’s refining to gold tried in the fire. She brought that testimony to campers at the 1979 Missouri CFO.
