Norman Grubb opens a teaching series by comparing God the Father to a firm’s founder who raises up sons as executives. The founder’s enterprise, the whole universe, can then be run through them. Speaking to the 1973 Iowa CFO, Grubb pictures heaven as endless “fun, fun, fun” rather than fear, since sons who are co-heirs with Christ exist, like God, to bless others rather than to be served.
