Speaking in the camps, Agnes Sanford asks each person to take on one seminary and pray for a whole year that Jesus will walk into it. She first describes the group her children called her “gang,” who came to church early to pray for the minister, for anyone whose face they disliked, and for everyone going to the communion rail, and who never told a soul what they had done.
