Reg Goff walks a prayer group at the camps through the difference between ordinary light and a laser. Ordinary light is scattered and weak, while a laser beam stays locked together and can drill through a diamond. That, he says, is what happens when two people are both praying and both drawing nearer to Christ, coming into such tight agreement that their prayer turns coherent instead of scattered. He closes with Frank Lubbock’s son asking his overwhelmed father, “Dad, how can I help you?”
