In 1966 the California CFO heard Norman Elliott retell Elisha’s refusal to leave Elijah at Bethel, Jericho and the Jordan. He makes it a picture of surrender. He closes with an awkward duckling that discovers it was a wild goose all along, built to fly higher the harder it tries.
