Recorded at the 1959 Minnesota Koronis CFO. Roland Brown recalls a rainstorm in Ceylon when his car sank axle-deep in a muddy road. He and his companion talked themselves out of anxiety by giving thanks aloud for the rain and the road, until they reached pavement again. He offers the campers a paired set of antidotes.
Louise Eggleston passes on the counsel Glenn Clark gave a woman whose family trouble looked insolvable: go home and, morning, noon and night for three months, thank God for the answer instead of telling him what to do. At the 1959 Minnesota Koronis CFO she puts the whole camp under the same discipline, arguing that a shut-in or a paralytic could thank God for the answer as easily as anyone.
