Brother Mandus tells how his business failed. Kneeling before an altar in a small English church, he saw three cracks appear above it and heard a voice tell him to open a sanctuary of prayer with nothing left to his name. Speaking near the close of the Oklahoma Ardmore CFO in 1960, he recalls the first person who came to his two room sanctuary for healing, a woman crippled by arthritis for years who walked out healed.
Bill Reed tells campers at the 1960 Oklahoma Ardmore CFO camp about a patient whose chest x-ray was clouded by a spreading lung lesion. The morning after he prayed “oh, blessed Jesus, come into her,” the x-ray showed nothing. He then adds accounts of two uncles with leukemia who responded differently to prayer over the years.
Bill Reed argues that campers must give away any blessing rather than keep it for themselves. He then recounts praying for a woman with skin cancer, who had told him “no one wants to pray with me” because she was Jewish. The talk comes from the Oklahoma Ardmore CFO camp in 1960.
