Roger Youmans defines health as the relation of each member to the whole body of Christ, arguing from the behavior of a cancerous cell that a part which serves only itself makes the whole body sick. A message to the 1978 Southern California CFO.
From the 1978 Southern California CFO. Roger Youmans uses the plague of 1348 and the quarantine it produced as an extended figure for the epidemics he sees in modern society, traces them to humanism, and calls his hearers over into the kingdom of light.

Roger Youmans reads the bitter water of Marah as a picture of a polluted inner life, sweetened only when the cross is applied through forgiveness to resentment, pride, lust and fear. He borrows the chemistry of an ion exchange resin to describe what happens. The talk comes from the 1978 Southern California CFO.

Roger Youmans opens a week of healing teaching with his own account. This comes from the 1978 Southern California CFO. It takes in a call to medical missions in childhood, a spider that appeared to walk on water, a crisis over reform at a Kinshasa hospital, and being filled afresh with the Holy Spirit after his wife took him to hear a preacher.
