Bernie Warfield tells campers at the 1962 Arizona CFO about a teenage girl whose head injuries from a car crash seem to fade as she quietly prays love toward him during his talk. He then turns his boyhood chore of restuffing a straw mattress into a call to try some “new straw,” a fresh dose of love, under a routine gone stale.
