Walden Sold Two Hundred Copies

Norman Elliott used the opening of the Annual CFO in 1971 to trace the movement’s roots. He argued from a famous book that sold barely two hundred copies in its author’s lifetime. Campers, he said, should trust an experience of God rather than chase popularity or a tidy definition.
