Thelma Lee opens Psalm 24 with the question “who is this King of glory?” She traces the answer from Pilate’s inscription over the cross, written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin, to her quiet visits reading the 23rd Psalm to an elderly neighbor. That neighbor, she says, “could cuss like a sailor.” The talk comes from the West Virginia Capon Springs CFO in 1986.
